This review is from: Trident Case AG-DR3-BK AEGIS Series for Motorola DROID 3 - Black - 1 Pack - Carrying Case - Retail Packaging (Wireless Phone Accessory) I purchased this item to replace the Otterbox I had on my Droid 3. I liked the Otterbox but eventually the front piece refused to stay on, so I turned to the Trident case as a cheaper alternative. I have the same complaint that numerous others on here had, which is that the front of this case kept touching the 4,R,and E keys every time I slid up the display. I was able to solve this problem by shaving down the bottom-most clip on the front cover with a pair of scissors. Mind you, this took about an hour, but it is so worth not having to put up with keys being hit when you don't want them to be. I now use the front of the Trident case along with the back of the Otterbox, as I prefer how the Otterbox has dust covers for the port holes. In short, the case seems sturdy and the front is built better than the Otterbox's......once you shave it down. She had a Otterbox Commuter series on it before and she didn't really like it because of its hard plastic back with a slick finish, but the Trident case has a very nice almost soft touch feel to it. It is also a very good looking case and the best overall case I have seen for the Droid 3.
